IEC
Welcome to Term 4, this term is a busy and exciting time for students. Next year, students in year 6 will be in BYOX classes, using laptops in all of the year 6 classes. Our focus in the Year 5/6 IEC class this year has been using laptops and assistive technology to prepare for this BYOX transition. Students have been working hard on remembering their passwords and logging on, opening word and power point documents, creating texts for their assessments, using the snippy tool and emailing their work to their teachers. Focussing on these targeted laptop skills each day are a strong foundation for our IEC students in BYOX classes, in high school and later in life. Our focus for the remainder of the term will also be following our school rules and timetable, completing our assessments and preparing as a senior student for year 6 😊
