Prep Term 2, 2023 Curriculum Overview
Term Overview
Welcome back to all our existing and new parents and carers in Prep. We have a busy Term 2 ahead of us with lots of exciting things happening.
It is very important for students to attend school every day so they do not miss out on any of the curriculum. It is also important for every student to have a healthy breakfast before coming to school to help their concentration and ability to learn. Thank you for the healthy lunches, remember to gauge how much food your child requires and try and limit too many packaged foods if possible. Please put water in the water bottles and try to avoid juice if possible. If names come off lunchboxes and water bottles, make sure you rename them throughout the year to avoid confusion.
Just a reminder… No hat, no play! Ensure you have spare clothes in your child’s bag every day.
To build a sense of belonging, pride and respect, students are expected to wear their full school uniform:
- No jumpers with hoods or jumpers that are not a dark blue
- No jewellery with exception to watches, medical alert bracelets or religious/ memorial references.
- No knee-high colourful socks (Black, blue, white)
- School Hats to be worn (Prep orange hats)
Before School
We encourage parents to drop students off to school after 8:30am. If students arrive before this time, they are to sit in the COLA until the 8:30am bell.

Great news: Trinity Beach SS provides our parent community with the opportunity to register for QParents.
We will be sending out invitations for parents to register for QParents next week.
QParents won’t replace the traditional ways you communicate with our school, but it will provide another way to communicate with us.
More information about QParents can be found at https://qparents.qld.edu.au/#/about
